Innovation Fund for Growth Grant

Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation (GELF) makes available a grant to county Imagination Library (IL) programs to enhance an existing initiative or provide partial funding for a new project to engage the community around early literacy. Each county IL program is eligible for one annual award in the amount of up to $1,000.  If your proposal is approved, a report outlining outcomes must be submitted to dpilaffiliates@governorsfoundation.org within 30 days following the project/event. Assistance Funding for Monthly Book Bill

GELF has available short-term assistance funding for IL county programs that are unable to pay the monthly book bill. A 90-day notice of anticipated need is required, along with submission of the Assistance Funding application and related documents. GELF staff will work with your IL leadership team to develop a sustainable funding plan while your county IL program is on assistance.
