Marketing Toolkit: Launch a Facebook Fundraiser & Promote the Dolly Documentary in Your County

In honor of the documentary, “The Library That Dolly Built,” virtual premiere on December 9, the Dollywood Foundation is hosting a Facebook fundraiser from November 23 through December 13. As Imagination Library affiliates and volunteers, we encourage you to develop a campaign in your county to take advantage of this opportunity by leveraging the global brand recognition and media coverage. Below are links to resources for setting up your own campaign and promoting this effort to raise awareness of your program.

The world premiere of the Dolly documentary, “The Library That Dolly Built: Celebrating the People Who Made Dolly’s Dream Come True,” will broadcast live exclusively on Facebook, Wednesday, December 9 at 7 p.m. EST.  Immediately following Dolly will host a live Q&A and perform her song, “Try”.  Click here to RSVP to the Facebook event.

This will be the next best thing to having Dolly appear in-person at your event, so we encourage you to join the campaign to heighten community awareness around the work you are doing–and raise funds for your program–while celebrating people just like you who carry the Imagination Library program to children all over the world.
