Imagination Library Leads to Higher Test Scores

A just-released research brief offers exciting new support for the effectiveness of the Shelby County Books from Birth program, which is an affiliate of the Imagination Library.This study, conducted by the Pathways to Success Partnerships between the Urban Child Institute and Shelby County Schools, finds that second grade children who are a part opf the program score higher on second grade reading tests.
This research builds upon previous findings about the positive impact of the Imagination Library on kindergarden readiness.
