Growing Imagination Library’s Future Together!

March 14, 2014

The Governor's Books from Birth Foundation welcomed 147 volunteer participants from 52 counties to four regional Summits held during January and February. The theme for the Summits was Sustainability of Your County’s Imagination Library Program and featured presentations by Tennessee Imagination Library program leaders and GBBF staff on board development, increasing enrollments, building community partnerships, cultivating new contributors and navigating the GBBF website.

During lunch, county volunteers were grouped by program size and encouraged to share ideas and successes, ask questions and discuss issues of concern.

By all accounts, everyone who attended learned much and left eager to apply what they had learned to their own county’s Imagination Library program.

Those who were unable to attend a Summit may watch the videotaped presentations which are posted on this website in the County Connection section.
